About Us
Andrew and Megan Wilt founded Northstar Meditation in 2025 to share the grounding, centering, and practical benefits of meditation. As parents, professionals, and active members of their community, they see firsthand the pace and pressure of modern life. Meditation offers a way to quiet and renew the mind, helping people live with greater clarity, presence, and intention amid everyday demands.
Their work is informed by the tradition of Paramhansa Yogananda, which bridges Eastern and Western spiritual practice. Drawing from this lineage, they seek to restore the ancient practice of meditation to daily life and to places of worship, welcoming individuals of all religious traditions and backgrounds.
Andrew has spent more than a decade teaching, meditating, and helping others explore purpose and meaning through writing, teaching, and publishing. Megan brings over a decade of experience in healthcare and research, along with a lifelong commitment to service, inquiry, and care for others.
Together, Andrew and Megan are raising three children, with another on the way. They have experience supporting parents, students, individuals recovering from injury and illness, as well as those in 12-step recovery programs. Their approach is grounded in meeting people where they are, across all walks of life. At the heart of Northstar Meditation is a desire to share the inner peace, compassion, and sense of connection that grow through daily meditation and a strengthened community.
“By the practice of meditation, you will find that you are carrying within your heart a portable paradise.”
— Paramhansa Yogananda
